I’m Morné van der Westhuizen, a software engineer based in Hawke’s Bay, with more than 20 years’ experience and a background in electronics.
Wire & Workflow brings that experience to businesses looking for practical ways to make everyday work easier. I help with the awkward gaps: the job details someone has to chase, the spreadsheet between two apps, the equipment someone has to drive out to check.
I’ll start by listening to how your business works. Then we can decide whether changing what you have, connecting a couple of tools, or building something small is worth doing.
What working together looks like
The experience I bring
I’ve worked on business and financial software, connected different systems, and written software that runs inside electronic devices. That gives me experience with both the apps in the office and the equipment out in the field.
I’ve also worked with smart cards, cryptography and banking security hardware. Those are areas where careful handling and getting the details right matter.
I use AI daily in my development work, alongside engineering judgement and checks on the results. The starting point for your business is still the work you need to get done.
